Is my property eligible for listing? How can I list my property?

Anyone can nominate a historic property to the National Register of Historic Places. Follow the five-step process outlined here.

What does listing a property mean?

Listing a property on the National Register of Historic Places honors the history of a significant site. It does not infringe on the rights of private property owners.

State Museum and Store: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. M-F; Sat. & Sun. 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
We are closed New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. We are closed at noon Christmas Eve if it falls on Mon.-Thurs. and are closed all day if it falls on Fri.-Sun.
