Letters concerning Major Anders’ military service in the Philippine Insurrection, a transcript of court martial proceedings against George A. Custer, ration returns, notes on the history of Fort Abraham Lincoln, a typescript entitled, “Critical Notes on the line of March of Troops Serving the Department of Dakota in the Campaign Against the Sioux, 1876,” and transcripts of the Reno Court of Inquiry, ca. 1879 regarding the Battle of the Little Big Horn. Also includes four oversized maps drawn by Frank Lafayette Anders of the Yellowstone Expedition of 1876. The maps were used in a talk given to the Kiwanis Club by Anders on June 27, 1933.
