Abstract: Documents the activities of the various divisions within the State Health Department. Divisions reporting to the State Health Officer are: Administration, Health Education, Hospitals, Vital Statistics, Dental Health, Maternal and Child Health, Mental Health, Preventable Diseases, Public Health Nursing, Sanitation, Water Supply and Pollution Control, Laboratory Services, and the four district health units.
Provenance: The North Dakota State Archives acquired this record series through a series of transfers from the State Health Department. This record series was processed and the inventory prepared by Roy Bell, Karen Mund, Kari Rombs Kohlhoff, and Grace Wanttaja in July 1988.
