Abstract: Consists of minutes that document administration of the agency; regulation of public utilities, motor carriers, grain elevators, livestock dealers, and warehouses; inspections; and licensing. The minutes provide data on rates and tariff charges, railroad and highway right-of-way issues, construction of utilities, lease agreements, bills approved, hearings before the Commission, complaints from the public, classification of carriers, permits issued, investigations, and salary approval.
Provenance: The North Dakota Archives acquired these records through a series of transfers from the Public Service Commission. This records were processed and the inventory prepared by Bonnie Sheldon and Grace Wanttaja in December 1987.
