Provenance: The records were donated to the State Historical Society of North Dakota by Lois Reierson in February 2013.

HISTORICAL SKETCH

“The Korner Lions Club volunteers have been serving the community for over 30 years. In those thirty fruitful years [they] have provided eye glasses and hearing aids to children and adults who could not otherwise afford them. [They] also support[ed] Leader and Service Dogs.

Although the group focuses on helping people with sight and hearing, they also support numerous programs relating to diabetes, youth education by providing scholarships to local high school students, safety, environment, community awareness and Leadership.

The Korner Lions are also known for grilling and serving burgers for community concerts in the park during summer, home football games in the fall, and at many other community events.” - Williston Herald, April 14, 2012
