Abstract: Papers consist of correspondence, class record books with names of students, publications, schoolwork, report cards, photographic prints and negatives relating to Heinecke's time teaching grade school in ND. Images are of students, Heinecke, schools, the blizzard of 1966, and other scenes. Publications folder includes a sixth grade history book with answers filled in. Heinecke was from Wisconsin, but taught in ND from the late 1950s to the late 1960s. He taught in Glen Ullin (Hertz School), Beulah (Green Vale School), Sweet Briar, Huff (Ambulance Butte School) and Lark, (Carl School) among other schools.
Provenance: The collection was donated by Heinecke's niece, Patti Ruff, on August 29, 2011. The collection was processed, and this inventory was created by Emily E. Schultz in August 2011.
