Abstract: Consists of transcriptions of the diaries of Sarah Lyness and of Sarah’s daughter, Ida Lyness Lloyd, a variety of certificates of Chester Lyness, Marion Lyness (Eldredge), Nora Marie Link (mother of Marian), and Hazel Irene Lyness (daughter of George Lyness).
Provenance: The State Historical Society of North Dakota acquired the Lyness Family Papers from Marion (Lyness) Eldredge in 2006. She donated additional material in 2009. Emily Ergen prepared the inventory for the collection in October 2009.
