Abstract: Images of Pembina homes, businesses, floods, residents and officials, baseball teams, churches, and horses pulling planes across the Canadian border before the WWII Lend Lease program began.
Provenance: Candy Wood, who worked at the Pembina Museum, loaned the photographs to the State Historical Society in 1988 to have copy prints and negatives made. Later the museum closed and under state law, the State Historical Society of North Dakota acquired this collection of photographs and historical documents. Many of the original photographs for this collection are in manuscript collection 10737. The photographs in this collection for which there are originals in MSS 10737 are noted in the inventory below.
