Abstract: Includes early images of Mondak (Mont.), soldiers hauling water to Fort Sully, Fort Buford, and the Upper Missouri Historical Expedition at Fort Union in 1925.
Provenance: The State Historical Society of North Dakota acquired this collection from Roy Rounce, Henry Renville, Tom Boyd, Otto Seel, Pearl Forsyth, Pearl Johnson Bailey, Ella Hammill, and Jim Mikkelson. Some of these images were used in an exhibit at Fort Buford State Historic Site.
