Provenance: The State Historical Society of North Dakota acquired this collection in trades with Edward Nolan in 1963-1964.

Transfer: Pamphlet from The Chicago and North Western Railway, 1882, folding into a map of Dakota Territory 17 1/2 x 24 1/2, with much information on reverse side concerning Dakota and farming there, "Custer Battle Field", a 14 page piece with illustrations plus colored frontis, that appeared in the 1901 Wonderland annual, published by the Northern Pacific. The pamphlet and book separated from the photograph collection and added to appropriate material collections.
