BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
George Teskey was born April 28, 1902 in Bothwell, Ontario, Canada to Edward F. and Eva F. Teskey. He attended Faith (S.D.) High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of South Dakota. He married Hannah Veitch in Williston (N.D.) in 1936 and they had two daughters, Jean and Margaret.
Teskey began work at the North Dakota State Highway Department in 1926 and retired in 1971 as a Specifications Engineer. During World War II he was involved in War Production regulations for the Highway Department.
Teskey was a charter member and secretary of the ND Society of Professional Engineers, director of the National Society of Professional Engineers, Grand Commander of the ND Knights Templar, Commander of the Tancred Commandery, Illustrious master of the Twin City Council, and Worshipful Master of the Biusmarck Lodge. He belonged to the First Presbyterian Church of Bismarck, the Faith (S.D.) Masons, and the Lewis and Clark Lodge, Bismarck (N.D.)
George Teskey died in Bismarck April 27, 1972.
