4 Oil – Art works, small illustrations such as copies of clip art and images including the Williston Basin Energy Festival II, July 4-6, 1991 image. Also included in the folder is a Special Report from the Oil & Gas Journal, and other oil related text including some for Mud, Sweat & Oil by Bill Shemorry.
5 Oil – Copies of newspapers about oil companies, people and oil fields, and page 143 map of ND in Mud, Sweat & Oil. Nostalgia newspaper article titled “Precursor to the NDPA: North Dakota Oil and Gas Association meets” by Bill Shemorry. Nostalgia photo and draft article for Fed 4, Williston Oil Reporter as well as other article drafts, a letter to Dave Webster at Western Oil Reporter in Denver, CO, and some handwritten notes. There is a large print of an oil well at night, and also a photograph of the Mandan refinery while under construction.
6 24 Oil related prints – possibly used in the Oil Report and other articles on oil. (Print 132-19-1 same event as 175-6-11 and 170-110 to 112)
7 5 photographic prints and files such as a map of the rocky Mt. region, rig count – 1978; article drafts, copies of newspaper articles, and a listing of the first Amerada wells drilled in the period 9-3-50 and 4-2-52.
8 28 prints and 34 negatives, most relating to oil wells, people, supply companies, oil crews, and oil men at work. A few published in the newspaper with cutlines.
9 Oil – 6 prints, copies of newspapers, and a draft of the Petroleum Picture
10 Oil field novelties – oil related catalogs and a letter from Guy Huey Promotions, and a 1983 BTS Line, Solid Brass Specialties catalog
11 Oil related materials including 38 prints, 1 screened negative of a print also in this folder, two handwritten notes, and two photo caption drafts.
