6 5 prints from Kunming, China, 7/7/1945; Nora & Benette Yuan, 1944 and 1945, Chinese friends of Bill Shemorry. Bennett was a staff member of the Chinese Ministry of Information in Kunming. Late years be was arrested by Commies and disappeared – they probably killed him. Don’t know what happened to Nora and her sister Sopha. Newspaper clipping titled Jap-Occupies Hankow blockaded and dying – article on the sister of Shemorry’s friends.
