In celebration of Historic Preservation Month, the State Historic Preservation Office and the North Dakota Archaeology Association (NDAA) are co-hosting the presentation “Finding your Home’s History” by Architectural Historian Lorna Meidinger. Meidinger will begin by formally recognizing all of the North Dakota properties listed in the National Register of Historic Places during 2014 and then talk about where the history used in those nominations came from and where to go to find your own property’s history.
The presentation will be Saturday, May 23 at 9:45 a.m. at the ND Heritage Center in Bismarck. After Meidinger’s presentation, the NDAA has a full line-up of other interesting activities and presentations being held at the ND Heritage Center. More information about the additional activities is available at www.ndarchaeology.org. All presentations are free and the public is welcome.
