BISMARCK - On Sunday, June 14, the North Dakota Former Governors’ Mansion State Historic Site will be hosting Flag Day events from 1-3 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Activities are geared toward children, but all ages are welcome.
Outdoor activities planned include pinwheel making, face painting, story time, music, and ice cream. After pinwheels have been created and decorated, a small parade will take place around the block. Children may bring drums, kazoos, or other instruments for the parade. The event will be moved indoors in the event of inclement weather.
