Fort Buford and Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center to Host Public Programs

FORT BUFORD—The public is invited to these free upcoming events at the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center and the Fort Buford State Historic Site.

May 15-16, 2015
Confluence Quilters, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CDT. Join the Confluence Quilters for their monthly meeting at the Confluence. All experience levels invited and instruction provided. Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center, 701.572.9034.

May 17, 2015
Concert at the Confluence, 3 p.m. CDT, featuring Little Dalles Bluegrass Band and free refreshments. Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center.

History Alive! A public program featuring a lecture by “Captain Grant Marsh, Steamboat Captain,” 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. CDT. Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center.

Fort Buford State Historic Site and Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center begin summer hours, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. CDT daily.

The Missouri Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center is located 22 miles southwest of Williston at Fort Buford State Historic Site. Hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday from 1-5 p.m., Closed Monday and Tuesday.

State Museum and Store: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. M-F; Sat. & Sun. 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
We are closed New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. We are closed at noon Christmas Eve if it falls on Mon.-Thurs. and are closed all day if it falls on Fri.-Sun.
