One method historians use to analyze the importance of events in the past is to count how many times they are mentioned. Using this method, determine the importance of events in High Dog's or John No Ears' winter counts. For instance, you might list the following terms:

Weather:

List a few other terms and count their appearance in the count. What kind of events are most likely to be noted as the annual event of remembrance?
