  1. Evaluate each of the three annual reports for evidence that the drought and depression is becoming increasingly difficult for Adams County farmers. Identify specific sentences that support your findings. You might want to focus on wheat production, grasshoppers, and cattle as separate categories for your evaluation.
  1. In 1931, 102 farmers received federal seed loans. Their loans totaled $43,203.34 What were the figures for 1932? What was the percentage of increase?
  1. How did farmers feel about the Agricultural Adjustment Administration program? What evidence can you draw on in support of your answer?
