The Society also produces newsletters for its various constituents. Plains Talk is a quarterly newsletter sent to all the members of the State Historical Society of North Dakota Foundation, describing the work of the Society, sharing information about people, places, and programs. Our nearly 200 volunteers receive a quarterly newsletter, Volunteer Voices, that shares news about ongoing programs and the countless contributions of the wonderful people who augment the work of the paid staff of the Society. The 104 local historical societies across the state receive The Local Network, a newsletter which facilitates the sharing of expertise and know-how among the various locals and from the Society to them.
