Expansion construction on the North Dakota Heritage Center is nearing the end stages, and more volunteers are needed to help welcome visitors and assist staff in many other areas.
“We are planning to open the doors to the newly expanded State Museum at the North Dakota Heritage Center on September 1, 2013,” said Beth Campbell, visitor services coordinator. “In order to be prepared, we are recruiting and training volunteers beginning the first week in June.” Orientation session will be held on Monday, June 3, and Thursday, June 6, at 7:00 p.m. People interested in volunteering are asked to attend one of the two sessions.

We are closed New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
We will also be closed on Christmas Eve this year.
State Archives: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. M-F, except state holidays; 2nd Sat. of each month, 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
