FORT BUFORD--The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center will be hosting several events in July. All of the events are free and open to the public.
Meet other history buffs in an interesting discussion of the month’s selected book. The Fort Buford History Book Club gathers on July 10 at the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Center. Please call in advance if you will be joining us.
On July 13, Ken Robinson, author of “Montana Territory and the Civil War: A Frontier Forged on the Battlefield” will do a presentation and book signing from 2 – 4 p.m.
History Alive! returns on July 19 - 20 with Arch Ellwein presenting Vic Smith, “Champion Buffalo Hunter,” at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. CDT each day.
Nationally renowned Theodore Roosevelt impersonator, Joe Wiegand, will be at the Confluence Center on July 20, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. CDT. He will present a public program at 1 p.m.
Join the Confluence Quilters for their monthly meeting July 25 - 26 from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. CDT. Quilters of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to participate.
The Missouri Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center is located 22 miles southwest of Williston at Fort Buford. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. CDT daily. Fort Buford State Historic Site is open daily from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. CDT
