The purpose for entering submissions is to design a logo for North Dakota’s 125th Anniversary. The logo will be used online, in print, on merchandise, etc. Flexibility is a key requirement, including the need to resize easily and to transfer to black and white, as well as in color. The final version of the logo will need to be suitable for high quality printing.
Submissions should contain no more than four (4) colors and be your original work; use no stock or clip art images. By submitting your design, you are guaranteeing that you hold rights to everything in it and that it does not contain any copyrighted material. No artist signature is permitted as part of the design.
Entrants may submit multiple designs, but they must be submitted as separate entries.
The entries must be submitted in PNG or gif format. Submissions should not exceed 2MB. We will ask the winning entrant for a high resolution working file of their winning design.
While digital entries are preferred, non-digital entries can also be submitted. Please consider a medium that gives a crisp, defined image. Be aware that designs will be scanned and posted in electronic format. All efforts will be made to maintain essence of design, but some modifications may be necessary in converting the image to a digital format. Non-digital entries must be a minimum of 6” x 6” in size to aid in quality digitizing; however, they may not exceed 8” x 10”.
Mail non-digital entries to:
