Abstract: Consists of photographs and postcards depicting businesses, fires, people and buildings in Rolla (N.D.), Rolette (N.D.), Cando (N.D.), Dunseith (N.D.), Butte Saint Paul, Bottineau County (N.D.), the International Peace Garden, Fish Lake (near St. John, Rolette County, N.D.). The images were collected and used by the Turtle Mountain Star.
Provenance: The collection was donated to the State Historical Society of North Dakota by Roger Bailey on February 5, 2016.

HISTORICAL SKETCH
The Turtle Mountain Star began November 1888, published by Parsons and Fritz. In 1917, the Star merged with the Rolette County Herald to form the Turtle Mountain Star and Rolette County Herald.
