Abstract: Papers consist of a diary, album of post cards, and newspaper clippings. Sorenson served in Company B, 1st Infantry, North Dakota National Guard, and in the Spanish American War and Philippine Insurrection, 1898-1899, on the Mexican border, 1917-1918, and in France from 1918-1919. The diary dates from 1898-1899, and the post cards are of the Mesves Hospital in France, ca. 1918-1919. The clippings pertain to ND veterans and date from 1961 and ca. 1986.
Provenance: The collection was donated by Linda Christianson in June 2010. This finding aid was created by Emily E. Schultz in November 2010.
