SCOPE AND CONTENT

The collection is not processed and has only a preliminary inventory. The materials were originally collected by Roy P. Johnson, who gave them to Father Louis Pfaller. Pfaller worked on the collection, did further research, and added his letters, notes and research materials. It is not evident where the Johnson Papers left off and the Pfaller Papers began as they are intermingled.
